I'd completely forgotten how much I love taking photos. I've been without a decent camera for so long, it's like I'm suffering from delayed withdrawal now that I have a shiny new camera to play with. I'm going to start uploading my photos to scraps or something... I don't want them in my normal gallery, but I still want to put them somewhere. So if you want to have your accosted by my sub-par photography skills, watch my scraps.

On a somewhat annoying note, my subscription ran out again. Yet for some strange reason I still have journal CSS. But ads. Augh.

My mum is currently borrowing my Macbook for email checking and the like because the family PC imploded, and she somehow submitted this journal when it was only half written. Heaven knows how.

Speaking of which. As I said, out faithful old family PC is dead. About time, good riddance. Which obviously means it's time for a shiny new one. Well, my parents ordered a shiny new Dell running Windows 7 which should arrive on Saturday. And you know what?

I can't wait.

Now I'm a proud Mac user and always will be. I went from Windows XP to Leopard and never looked back. But I'm actually excited to have a box running Windows 7 in the house. #1 - Because I can finally test out Paint Tool Sai, which I've been utterly dying to do. But I really do want to see how well this OS lives up to it's vaunted reputation. If I like it, I might actually spend a bit more time on the family PC.
